Chicago Bulls: Who do they really want to sign for next two offseasons?

The Chicago Bulls have been mentioned in various rumors this offseason as speculation continues over roster changes. The upcoming year though will be the one that determines who management will pursue in the next couple off seasons.

We have heard about the Chicago Bulls young core of Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter Jr., Otto Porter Jr, Zach LaVine and Coby White. Everyone has high hopes for this group to mature together and form the nucleus of a title contender similar to how Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant and BJ Armstrong once did.

Only one problem. No player on the current roster has even shown a hint of possibly becoming a Pippen let alone the GOAT.  If the Bulls are going to get to an Eastern Conference championship in the near future, the next two off seasons are crucial.

The upcoming season will determine the direction management goes. What is their plan if the rebuild does not go as planned?
