A player that is finally getting more love along the media and NBA fans is the former Washington Wizards small forward Otto Porter Jr. GarPax stole Porter Jr. away from the Wizards in a trade deadline package that sent forwards Jabari Parker and Bobby Portis from the Chicago Bulls.

Porter Jr. caught fire down the stretch for the Bulls after getting dealt from the Wizards. He was able to set a career-high for points in a February outing against the Memphis Grizzlies and shot better than 48 percent from three-point range as a member of the Bulls.

The two-way ability that Porter Jr. put on display the past two or three seasons with the Bulls and Wizards should start to get more buy-in for his versatile skill set around the entire NBA. He also finished up his brief run with the Bulls last season with an 18.0 player efficiency rating and .112 win shares per 48 minutes.

And since the Bulls have such little depth at the wing at the moment, Porter Jr. is going to get the opportunity to shine in the spotlight. This might even be the most opportune role that Porter Jr. finds himself in during his still developing NBA journey. The numbers Porter Jr. registered with the Bulls at the end of this past regular season inspires a lot of confidence as to where his game will go in 2019-20.
