What are the biggest remaining goals for the long offseason that the Chicago Bulls must attain ahead of the 2019-20 regular season?
The dead period of the offseason officially hit this month for the Chicago Bulls. The news drops came few and far between for the Bulls. Ending this cycle of free agency, the NBA Draft, and the Las Vegas NBA Summer League created a black hole for the news cycle. But the Bulls could make another big move or two before the regular season begins in around two months.
For the remainder of the offseason, the Bulls will still have attainable goals that need to be reached in Training Camp and during the preseason to reach that next level in the Eastern Conference. What are the more bold of those goals that the Bulls would like to reach to get into playoff contention in the East?
Chicago Bulls head coach Jim Boylen and front office personnel like John Paxson and Gar Forman have to make adjustments themselves from the top down to put this team on the right track. GarPax and Boylen clearly caused the fan base to have doubts in their abilities to grow this young core well into the future starting last season.
Extending Boylen three more years as the head coach for the Bulls in the post-Fred Hoiberg era was a big risk. And it wasn’t a very popular move at that. GarPax might be putting it all on the line with this gamble on extending Boylen.
Here’s a look into the five bold predictions for the remainder of the Chicago Bulls offseason as we move into the fall months soon.
