Now that the schedule for the 2019-20 NBA season has been officially released, let’s take a look at which five games will be the toughest for the Chicago Bulls.

The Chicago Bulls are set to be in a tough spot in the 2019-20 NBA season. They’re dealing with an (understandably) impatient fan base and a plethora of young up-and-comers.

The good news for the Bulls? They have a playoff-capable roster, which is something a lot of teams don’t have. The bad news? They’ll play a ton of regular-season games against teams far better than them.

Let’s run through the five toughest games for the Bulls in the 2019-20 season.

5. January 8 at New Orleans

The Pelicans will be one of the toughest matchups for every team in the 2019-20 season. They have more young talent than anyone, Jrue Holiday is a nightmare to play against and the buzz around them will be insane. They’re also going to play extremely hard at all times.

Zion Williamson, the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, will have the home crowd going berserk with every rim-shattering dunk and gravity-defying block. For a team like the Bulls, stepping into that environment won’t be an easy task.

Along with Zion, the Pelicans can roll out lineups including young bucks like Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Jaxson Hayes and Nickeil Alexander-Walker. It’s hard to imagine the Bulls’ youngsters will out-duel the Pelicans youngsters in a January 2020 matchup. Walking into the world of Zion Williamson and competing against some of the best young players in the world will be overwhelming, to say the least.
