Taking a flier out on the aging former Golden State Warriors guard Will Bynum would be a risk for the Chicago Bulls. But it might be one worth taking given his overall athleticism and ability to command the floor. Bynum is putting on an absolute show with Bivouac this season. Along with Morrow, Bynum could have a once sliding Bivouac team heading to the playoffs next week.

NOLA would get a treat to see a former Pelican like Morrow and the agile and efficient Bynum. As a former member of the Warriors, Washington Wizards, and mostly the Detroit Pistons, Bynum definitely has a lot of NBA experience under his belt that is valuable for the BIG3. He’s showing that down the stretch during this regular season.

It almost seems like Bynum is carving out a James Harden-like role for himself with Bivouac in the BIG3. He’s taking a lot of shots, but doing so efficiently. He’s also getting to the foul line a lot, which is a potent way to blow up the box score in the BIG3. Bynum is one of the 10 best scorers in the league this summer.

The clock is running out on when Bynum could actually make a return to the NBA. His final year in the NBA was back in 2015. But this could be the spark he needs to get another shot in the G-League or deep down an NBA bench. If the Bulls decide to move a piece like point guard Kris Dunn before the regular season arrives, Bynum could be an option.
