Summer in the NBA is all about working hard to be able to achieve goals for the regular season, but what are the Chicago Bulls challenging themselves to do?

Some players have goals such as making All-Star teams, averaging certain numbers in their stat lines, or other things they’d like to achieve in 2019-2020. No matter what these individual goals may be, each of the Chicago Bulls hopes that their work over the summer can not only help them reach their personal goal, but also aid the team in reaching the goal of making some noise in the Eastern Conference.

Much like Kobe Bryant‘s challenges to NBA players a few summers back, I have come up with reasonable individual challenges for each of the Bulls currently on the roster for the 2019-2020 season. If each of these players is able to conquer these challenges (which is a massive over-assumption) , the Bulls would take a monster step in the rebuild and could even make some noise in the NBA as early as this season.

Each of these challenges are based solely on the 2019-2020 season and are all what I believe to be very attainable and reasonable goals. This Chicago team is not as far as many believe they are from being a serious team in the NBA’s Eastern Conference, and these steps are the first ones towards getting back on track as contenders, while also building a young and sustainable winning roster. With this being said, let’s take a look at what the Bulls need to do to get back on track in 2019-2020.
