6. Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz

The 2018 NBA Slam Dunk Champion’s game took a step forward in the Jazz acquired Mike Conley, accelerate Donovan Mitchell‘s growth. With Conley in the picture, Mitchell will have less focus on him; hopefully leaving us with more dunks like the ones below.

Mitchell raised his points (23.8), assists (4.2), and rebounds (4.1), in 77 games in year two to set career-highs in all three categories. Utah was the No. 5 seed in the playoffs and avoided a sweep from Houston losing the series 4-1. Mitchell only had 34 dunks last season, but every single one had some flare and power to it.

The 2017 13th overall pick has a 40.5-inch vertical and is one of the best dunking guards especially offset alley-oop plays. Mitchell at 22-years-old has plenty of time to climb the ranks as he’ll only get better with time. Year three will be an exciting one for Spidamitchell.
