Chicago Bulls: Ranking Zach LaVine amid top 10 2019 in-game dunkers
1. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks
Pick your favorite player and Giannis Antetokounmpo will dunk on him. Plain and simple. The Greek Freak’s length, strength, and speed earned him the MVP this season and almost a trip to the Finals. Every night there was a highlight of a euro step from beyond the free-throw line ending with a Greek flush.
Antetokounmpo set career-highs in points (27.7), rebounds (12.5), assists (5.9), and field goal percentage (57.8) for the NBA’s winningest team in 2018-19. The Bucks had the best record in the NBA last season with 60 wins and 22 losses. All eyes were on Giannis all season and with Kawhi leaving the East, Milwaukee will have a better chance at reaching the NBA Finals.
Until the NBA regular season starts in October so until then let’s enjoy dunk week and the Greek Freak.
The reigning MVP has been the best dunker in the league for a few years and after this past season, his lead on the field has grown. Happy NBA Dunk Week! What’s your top 10 and who was left off the list?
