2. Aaron Gordon, Orlando Magic
Aaron Gordon lost twice to LaVine in the Slam Dunk Contest, but put up a hell of a fight in what a lot of fans consider two of the best dunk contests in recent years. However, in-game, Gordon had nearly twice as many dunks as LaVine on the season and gets the slight nod because of his ability and consistency to perform putback slams, alley-oops, and to pose mid-air in some of the highlight dunks.
This past season the Magic made the playoffs as the No. 7 seed losing to the eventual NBA Champion Toronto Raptors and with Orlando’s key offseason pieces returning they should be a better team. Gordon played a major role in the Magic’s success averaging 16.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, and a career-high 3.7 assists per game.
Gordon played in 78 games and had 110 dunks, a ridiculous amount even for a big man. So watching all of them would be long but fun so you could always prove me wrong.
