Take two: Either Denzel Valentine or Chandler Huchinson will be moved as part of a Kris Dunn trade package.

Even though Chicago Bulls head coach Jim Boylen recently stated that Kris Dunn will be the starter at the beginning of the season, I highly doubt that he will actually be on the roster by the end of the season, with Tomas Satoransky and Coby White on the team. That being said, I think that the Bulls may package Dunn with one of their young rotational pieces to get a better trade offer, which I believe will either be Denzel Valentine or Chandler Hutchison.

Although both are fairly young, both respectively haven’t lived up to what the Bulls have expected so far. Valentine hasn’t been that solid and consistent role player that he should have been coming out of Michigan State and Hutchison hasn’t shown that jump that many Bulls fans expected.

That being said, both still haven’t hit their potential yet and could be enticing to other teams.

In Valentine’s case, he is a versatile guard/forward who can run the offense. He currently is a streaky shooter, but maybe in a better situation, he could develop his shot a little better.

For Hutchison, he is only entering his second year, but he hasn’t shown improvement in his game that the Bulls thought would happen. He is a strong forward who has the tools to be a good three and D player in the right situation.
