3. Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets are arguably the NBA team with the brightest future. Nikola Jokic finished fourth in MVP voting for the 2018-19 season and arguably should’ve been third. He averaged 20.1 points per game on 51.1% shooting from the field to go along with 10.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists. He’s one of the best passing big men of all time, he can stretch the floor, he can score from the low post and he’s a better defender than he gets credit for being. Oh, and he’s only 24 years old.

Along with Jokic, the Nuggets have Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, Paul Millsap, Jerami Grant, Michael Porter Jr. and Monte Morris.

Murray is a rising star at the point guard position and has the perfect skill set to play off of Jokic. Harris is a solid three-and-D two-guard. Millsap is a quality veteran who has meaningful playoff experience. Grant is one of the most underrated players in the league. If Porter can stay healthy, he’ll be an awesome bench piece. Morris is one of the best backup point guards in the league; he takes care of the ball and knows his role.

All in all, the Nuggets have a stellar roster. Jokic is a once-in-a-generation type of player, and he has the perfect supporting cast to help him out.
