Chicago Bulls: NBA power rankings for all 30 teams

11. Portland Trail Blazers
Unlike a lot of the best teams in the league, the Portland Trail Blazers didn’t make a lot of groundbreaking changes this summer. Instead, they just made a lot of little moves. They acquired Kent Bazemore and Hassan Whiteside via two different trades. Bazemore is a solid two-way player, and Whiteside is a decent fill-in for Jusuf Nurkic while Nurk continues to recover from a leg injury. In the draft, they got Nassir Little, who will be a good addition on the wing.
None of those guys matter all that much, though. The engine that makes the Trail Blazers go is the dynamic duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. They’re two of the best guards in the league, and they complement each other extremely well.
The bad news for Portland is they’re still in the Western Conference. That means it’s going to be extremely tough for them to make any sort of deep run in the playoffs. Still, they’re one of the best teams in the league.
