20. Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons will be a fun team in the 2019-2020 season. Their success level, though, will largely depend on how healthy their core group of guys can stay.

Blake Griffin is one of the best players in the league when healthy, but injuries have been a major part of his career, and I’m not sure that will change any time soon. The reality is he’s an injury-prone player. It’s sad but true.

Derrick Rose, their big free-agent acquisition, also has an incredibly troubling injury history. Rose is coming off a brilliant year. Last season for the Wolves, he averaged 18 points per game on an efficient 48.2% shooting from the field and a career-high 37% shooting from deep.

If Rose and Griffin can stay healthy, they’ll be a super fun tandem. Combine those two with Andre Drummond and one of my favorite youngsters, Luke Kennard, and the Pistons will have a really good team. I mean, good in relativity to how they’ve been in recent seasons.
