Chicago Bulls Trade Rumors: 3 Memphis Grizzlies updated deals
Getting one last trade deal done this summer could round out the roster for the Chicago Bulls ahead of a pivotal 2019-20 regular season.
The recent reports that the Chicago Bulls are shopping point guard Kris Dunn haven’t slowed since the conclusion of the 2019 NBA Draft. Dunn is getting pushed out of the mix in the point guard portion of the depth chart with the other signings the Bulls made and who they picked in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft.
Since June 20 (draft night), the Bulls were able to add former North Carolina Tar Heels point guard Coby White and former Washington Wizards guard Tomas Satoransky to the roster. White was picked seventh overall and Satoransky was acquired as part of a sign-and-trade deal with the Wizards in the midst of free agency.
What the Bulls also moved to do in the offseason that added to the point guard depth is re-signed the hard-working Ryan Arcidiacono to a three-year deal worth $9 million. With all that in mind, it’s hard to figure out where Dunn fits into the picture for this Bulls team heading into the future.
According to a report from K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, the Bulls were in discussions with the Memphis Grizzlies to try and get a deal done to send Dunn out. That just adds more fuel to the flame considering the report that emerged on Twitter that Dunn and his agent are apparently “checked out” from the Bulls this offseason.
Nothing sounds good right now for the chances that the Chicago Bulls bring back Kris Dunn for next season. If he lands in Memphis, here’s a look at trade packages that would benefit both sides.
