Other names to watch in 2020

Deni Avdija, Small Forward

Potentially a top riser up draft boards that also fell out of the lottery in this 2020 NBA Mock Draft is the Maccabi Tel Aviv 6-foot-9 small forward Deni Avdija. A solid shooter and rebounder with tons of promise, Avdija could fall anywhere between picks 6-18 roughly. Especially with all the depth in this draft class, it’s hard to tell where he’ll fall now.

Tyrese Maxey, Combo Guard

Kentucky was lucky to nab the former five-star combo guard recruit and 2019 signee Tyrese Maxey ahead of the next college basketball season. Maxey is an elite facilitator and could continue to improve his shooting ability. As a player that does have a volatile draft stock given his skill set, Maxey will be important to follow next season.

Tre Jones, Point Guard

One of the few rising sophomores on this list for the 2020 NBA Draft going in the lottery, the Duke Blue Devils starting point guard Tre Jones will get another year to round out his skill set. Jones is an effective facilitator and two-way point guard. But his shooting and creating ability still need work at Duke.
