Zach LaVine = Connor S.

Connor S. was a relatively quiet contestant on The Bachelorette. He didn’t have a lot of on-camera moments, and he never really said anything that stood out as either good or bad. He was just a seemingly nice dude trying to find love. There’s nothing wrong with that.

The same can’t be said for Zach LaVine. His game isn’t quiet at all. He’ll dunk on anyone’s head if they’re standing near the hoop.

Zach and Connor do have some similarities, though.

It’s unclear what the future holds for LaVine and the Bulls. I could see him being a Bull for the next decade, but I could also see him getting traded in the next year or two. Really, anything is on the table. It’s quite possible that in a few years, we’ll be saying the same things about Zach LaVine that we’re saying right now about Connor.

It’s not that Connor is a bad guy, he just didn’t really have any chemistry with Hannah, which resulted in a lack of screen time. He seems like the kind of guy, though, that would thrive in Bachelor in Paradise (ABC’s Bachelor/Bachelorette spin-off).

Maybe that’s ultimately how we’ll remember Zach LaVine’s career. If he doesn’t end up meshing well with Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter Jr. and Coby White, maybe it’ll be time for the Bulls to move on and help him find a team that better suits his talents. Maybe he’ll thrive with a different group of players.

If the Bulls end up trading LaVine at some point, or if he signs with a different team in a few years when his contract is up, he’ll make some other team very happy – the same way Connor will soon make some other woman very happy.

Sidenote: I hope it doesn’t come to this. I love Zach LaVine.
