Otto Porter Jr. = Mike

Otto Porter Jr. hasn’t been with the Bulls for very long, but his impact on the team has been obvious. The same could be said about Mike on The Bachelorette. He went home this week (in heartbreaking fashion), but it was clear how important he was to Hannah.

You could see it on Hannah’s face when she had to break up with Mike. It hurt her. It was painful. It was emotional. Mike clearly had a positive impact on Hannah’s life despite only knowing her for a few weeks.

It’s unclear how long Otto will be with the Bulls. He’s under contract for the 2019-2020 season and has a player option for the 2020-2021 season, meaning he can return if he’d like or he can opt out. My gut is telling me that he’ll opt in to the final year on his contract (it’ll likely be the best financial decision for him), but you never know what’s going to happen in this crazy, wonderful league.

Otto has completely changed the Bulls’ outlook for the near future. He’s a lengthy wing who can shoot, pass and defend. In other words, he’s exactly what the Bulls needed. Even if Otto doesn’t stick around very long, he’s made it known that he has the ability to deeply affect a franchise.

Plus, I really think Otto and Mike look alike. They have identical smiles.
