Wendell Carter Jr. = Peter

Wendell Carter Jr. seems like a mild-mannered dude off the court, but then when he’s on the court, he’s a beast. The same could be said about Peter when he’s with Hannah.

Everyone loves Peter. He’s mild-mannered, he doesn’t ever do or say anything cringe-worthy and he has a boyish charm highlighted by a huge smile. He’s the type of guy that most of the other contestants probably didn’t consider a threat right away (mostly because he doesn’t look like he spends 20 hours a day in the gym), but when he’s with Hannah, it’s clear that he’s one of the frontrunners.

Peter also has a unique way of exploding with emotion when he feels it’s the right time. On this week’s episode, he was pretty quiet for almost the entire group date, but then when he got a rose, he walked Hannah outside and let out a loud “WOOOOOOO!” and it looked like he got his swagger back.

Remember when Wendell Carter Jr. met Russell Westbrook at the rim and humbled him moments later?

This was the basketball version of Peter making it to hometowns and letting all of his emotions run rampant.

Like Wendell Carter Jr., Peter will probably be around for a while.
