Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Previous Team: Chicago Bulls. 5. Center. Robin Lopez. player. 89

As a former Bucks big man moves to play overseas in Spain, another big man that is a former member of the Chicago Bulls can help to fill his shoes. The Bulls relied on veteran center Robin Lopez a lot to fill in last season after rookie center Wendell Carter Jr. was out for most of the latter half of the 2018-19 campaign.

RoLo gets to land with his brother, Brook Lopez, with the Bucks and will try to contend for an NBA Title next season. This is a good situation for RoLo to land in since he will be close with family and get to truly contend in the Eastern Conference.

The problem for Robin with the Bucks is the fact that he doesn’t fill the need that this frontcourt had to add stretch shooting among the bigs. Losing Mirotic made it so that the Bucks had to add another shooter among the fours and fives in the rotation. But Robin just is not going to be that guy.

Nonetheless, RoLo was a value option that will add valuable depth in the frontcourt for the Bucks. The Bulls will also still get to play RoLo a number of times since he will be in the Central Division with the Bucks. For all that Robin stuck through with the Bulls, this seems like a good reward for him.
