Here’s where we move into the very realistic players for the Chicago Bulls to target in the remainder of free agency considering the limited cap room left.

If the Bulls want to look toward a former player that could add yet another veteran voice to the locker room alongside Young, look no further than the former Minnesota Timberwolves small forward Luol Deng. He shouldn’t command much of a price tag since he didn’t play in more than 60 games since the 2015-16 season with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Deng is a two-time All-Star from his long 10-season tenure with the Bulls. He could be inked down to a minimum one or two-year deal that wouldn’t cost GarPax all that much. Deng didn’t get much work in Minnesota last season, but he was playing alongside two fellow former Bulls with point guard Derrick Rose and forward Taj Gibson.

What Deng would bring to the table specifically for the Bulls is a reliable scorer and two-way wing off the bench. Adding him to the rotation would also sure up the last two spots that you could consider thin for the Bulls. The Bulls do need to make sure that the two and the three are good to go since both Chandler Hutchison and Denzel Valentine had injuries last year.
