At the outset of the 2019-20 regular season, the Indiana Pacers veteran point guard Darren Collison will be 32-years-old. If the Chicago Bulls are able to lure Collison to the Windy City, it would have to be for the right price. Much like Cook would be for the Bulls, Collison is all about coming for the right price tag.

However, Collison looked like a legitimate mid-level starting point guard with a playoff team in the Eastern Conference like the Pacers last season. He registered a player efficiency rating better than 16.0 while showing that he is a capable shooter, distributor, and ball-handler. He’s a sure handed shooter that is better than a career 85 percent shooter from the free-throw line and was better than 40 percent from beyond the arc last season.

The concern for the Bulls will be if Collison starts to get more and more suitors this summer and his asking price starts getting around $12-$14 million. The Pacers landed Collison for a bargain deal last season, but Collison should see his stock go way up in this cycle of free agency.

The contract for Collison with the Pacers was a two-year deal worth $20 million in total. If the Bulls could somehow manage to keep him around $8-$10 million for this coming season, then it is worth possibly letting go of Dunn on the trade market and building around Collison and White.
