The chances that the Golden State Warriors are able to clamp back down on Quinn Cook for at least one more year to play a vital role in the backcourt rotation seems slim right now. But Cook saw his stock rise throughout the 2018-19 season, including a couple streaks where he couldn’t miss from beyond the arc.

There were also moments where Cook was able to explode to the basket and look like he could be a legitimate second or third unit offensive spark plug. The Bulls could use that, and the Warriors will miss that. But the Warriors don’t have much of any cap flexibility this summer, especially with the Kevin Durant pursuit.

What Cook would bring to the Chicago Bulls that would be really beneficial is his quickness and ability to space the floor. Cook is a premier shooter from beyond the arc and has a quick shooting stroke. Cook was also coached up in Golden State by a renowned former Bull with Steve Kerr.

Cook seems like an ideal fit with the Bulls if his price tag isn’t too high. Asking price could be a make-or-break factor if the Bulls do decide to go after the ultra-quick sharpshooter that could spark scoring off the bench and really space out a second unit with Cook in the mix.
