5. Boston Celtics

It’s weird to think about the Boston Celtics having a young core (you know, with all the success they’ve had recently – or something like that), but it looks like their two best players next season will be Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Both of those guys are currently under the age of 23.

If Kyrie Irving and Al Horford were to return to Boston next season, I’d nix the Celts from this list, but that’s starting to seem less and less likely as the summer goes on.

In addition to Tatum and Brown, the Celtics also have one of the toughest dudes in the league in Marcus Smart. It feels like Smart has been around forever, but he’s still only 25 years old. That’s young in my book.

The Celtics will likely look to make some big-time moves this summer, but even if they don’t, they’re still set up quite nicely for the future. There are a ton of teams who would do anything to have Tatum, Brown and Smart to build around.
