6. Brian Scalabrine

Team: Ball Hogs

A polarizing figure among NBA fans now, the former Chicago Bulls forward that mostly came off the bench Brian Scalabrine is also becoming a fan favorite in the BIG3. The BIG3 player profile for him lists him with a group of nine players that started each and every game played last season.

However, Scalabrine didn’t do a whole lot considering he started every game. Most of his role with the Ball Hogs was helping out with the coaching staff alongside NBA legend and the team’s head coach Rick Barry. The former USC Trojans standout should likely fill that same role he did alongside Barry this season.

5. Shannon Brown

Team: Aliens

While Scalabrine is one of the former Bulls that has played in games in the BIG3 before, the former NBA journeyman high-flying guard Shannon Brown did not. And much like it was for Morrow, Brown’s tenure close to his hometown with the Bulls was very short-lived. He played in just six games for the Bulls during his lengthy NBA career.

The reason for Brown higher up on this list is the fact that he fits the profile of an exciting talent that would thrive in 3-on-3 basketball like we see in the BIG3. Brown is also a co-captain of an expansion team, and he sits among the most experienced players selected in the BIG3 draft this year.
