Ranking every BIG3 former Chicago Bulls basketball player
8. Anthony Morrow
Team: Bivouac
The connection between shooting guard Anthony Morrow and the Chicago Bulls was very short lived. Of the more than seven seasons Morrow played in the NBA, and more than 550 games, just nine of them came with the Bulls. Those nine games he played with the Bulls for came back in the final year of his career in 2016-17.
This is the first season for Morrow in the BIG3, which makes it difficult to rank him along with a number of the other former Bulls on this list. But he did have a good season debut in Detroit yesterday, posting 16 points and five rebounds in a 50-46 win for his new team, Bivouac, over Enemies.
7. Eddy Curry
Team: Killer 3’s
One of the better teams in the BIG3, the Killer 3’s, got a nice addition to the squad this year with the former Bulls big man Eddy Curry. The time Curry spent with the Bulls was when he first broke into the NBA. His best years in the NBA production-wise also came with the Bulls and the New York Knicks.
But it was a rather pedestrian start to the BIG3 tenure between Curry and the Killer 3’s. While the Killer 3’s did notch an opening game win over Tri-State by the final score of 54-52, there was not much of a role for Curry on the floor. He finished that game with just 2 points and 6 rebounds.
