The Central Division had an all-around standout first round to the 2019 NBA Draft, led by the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Central Division had a strong night and dominated the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft. The Cleveland Cavaliers (No. 5) and Chicago Bulls (No. 7) had lottery selections and filled their teams biggest needs with even bigger names in Darius Garland and Coby White.

The Detroit Pistons (No. 15) and Indiana Pacers (No. 18) had mid-round selections and both teams may have been surprised with who they landed while the Milwaukee Bucks made salary cap moves to focus on keeping their current team intact.

The Cavs had three first-round selections including the Bucks pick to end the first round. They reloaded the roster with young talent just in time for John Beilein‘s arrival.

The Pacers made a big move with the Phoenix Suns prior to the draft and a couple of draft picks were shuffled in the division as well.

We grade the Central Division and how each team fared in the first round of the NBA Draft, including the Chicago Bulls.
