5. Darius Garland, G, Vanderbilt

Darius Garland is an intriguing prospect due to the fact that he missed virtually all of his freshman season at Vanderbilt with a meniscus injury. His ability to score from all three levels is his major selling point, especially is dead eye shooting from range.

Garland is also known for his phenomenal ball handling and the fact that he is also able to play well off of the ball. Concerns for Garland include his size, defensive ability, and his passing, although he has made noticeable strides in the latter.

Current NBA comparison: Damian Lillard

6. Cam Reddish, F, Duke

Easily the biggest question mark in the draft due to a disappointing freshman season is Cam Reddish. The 6-foot-8 forward has a near ideal frame for the modern NBA three and possesses all the skills to be an elite 3-and-D wing. Questions about his motor, effort, and consistency hinder him, yet his status as a top-three high school recruit will keep him as a top NBA prospect.

Current NBA comparison: Paul George

7. De’Andre Hunter, F, UVA

A pure Three-and-D player, De’Andre Hunter will be ready to play quality NBA minutes right off the bat. Hunter is exactly what modern systems need- a player who can excel off of the ball. Possibly the best shooter in the draft, teams in need of spacing will be all over the former Cavalier. Many believe Hunter’s ceiling is low, but his high floor will land him as a top-ten pick.

Current NBA comparison: Robert Covington

8. Sekou Doumbouya, F, France

The top international prospect in this draft class, Sekou Doumbouya does not turn 19 until late this year. His size and athleticism intrigue scouts, as he was not able to find many minutes in the French professional league. He could be a massive bust, but some lottery team will likely end up rolling the dice on the potential star.

Current NBA comparison: Pascal Siakam
