Duke. Zion Williamson. 69. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Forward. 1. player

No chance this pick changes, no mater what moves happen on draft night. Zion Williamson will become the face of the franchise and attempt to fill the massive shoes left behind by Anthony Davis as the leader of this young core.

Prospect Rank: 1

Ja Morant. 2. Pick Analysis. player. 211. Scouting Report. Guard. Murray State

For anyone who thought Memphis may take a player not named Ja Morant, consider yourself wrong. Moving on from Mike Conley today cemented Morant as the second overall pick in this year’s draft and as the new face of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Prospect Rank: 2

R.J. Barrett. 3. player. 27. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Forward/Guard. Duke

The Knicks worked out Darius Garland yesterday, but reports still state that the Knickerbockers are locked in on R.J. Barrett as their guy. Barrett will immediately take the lead scoring role, barring any major free agents coming to New York.

Prospect Rank: 3

De'Andre Hunter. 4. Pick Analysis. Forward. Virginia. 69. Scouting Report. player

De’Andre Hunter is not a top-four talent in this draft, but in the unlikely case that New Orleans retains this pick, they will desperately need shooting. Hunter is likely the best floor spacer in this draft, and although his ceiling isn’t the highest, his floor is very high considering his great stroke and defensive instincts. Look for New Orleans to move this pick for an established star or to trade down for future assets.
