If Garland is on the board at 7, Chicago makes out like a bandit. The former 5-star recruit has all the skills to be a modern NBA point guard, and an extremely high level one at that. In previous mocks, I emphasized the Bulls taking superstar potential over positional needs. Here, the team gets both with Darius Garland.

Another great pickup, Atlanta gets a potential superstar in the making in Cam Reddish. The Hawks can feel comfortable taking the risk on the swingman thanks to the fact that they have three selections in the top 17. Reddish could be a massive add for the Hawks extremely impressive young group and would slide in as a starter at the small forward on day one.

Washington still has not shown any signs of going into rebuild mode, but this could be on the horizon for the Wizards. In the meantime, D.C. gets a high-ceiling player in Brandon Clarke at a positional need. Clarke’s defense should be a nice fit next to fellow defensive standout Bradley Beal, if he is there for much longer.
