The Bulls continue their rebuild and what they’re going to do in the draft differentiates from person to person, which is no surprise.

Jarrett Culver, Darius Garland, De’Andre Hunter, Cam Reddish, and Coby White are all top priorities for the teams four through eight.  Culver worked out with the Bulls earlier in the week and the organization has been linked to White since we found out Chicago holds the seventh pick for the third-straight season.

The Bulls may decide to trade back with Atlanta, Washington, or Minnesota to select Doumbouya and attain a veteran, future draft pick(s), and/or cash considerations.

A very possible outcome would leave some Fans irate, but the risk and reward of the 18-year-old Doumbouya could pay off while Chicago is in the rebuilding stage. Doumbouya would quickly compete off the bench with Chandler Hutchinson, Denzel Valentine, and Christian Felicio for the three and four spots.

Another international player like Doumbouya to play alongside and/or behind Lauri Markkanen would accelerate Sekou’s growth and potential. The potential lottery pick can continue the trend of youth inside the Bulls locker room and pair well with second-year big Wendell Carter Jr. as they could both space the floor well together.

With Kris Dunn and Otto Porter Jr.’s careers uncertain in Chicago after next season, the Bulls could take Doumbouya as a potential replacement if they pass on a guard or don’t feel confident to who falls to them at seven.

All you can hope is Gar Forman and John Paxson make the right decision and go three-for-three at the seventh overall pick.
