The Chicago Bulls worked Sekou Doumbouya out as a potential selection at seventh overall or a potential trade back option in the upcoming NBA Draft.

The Chicago Bulls hosted another forward this week in preparation for the NBA Draft that’s now under a week away. This time it was Sekou Doumbouya working out for Chicago.

Doumbouya worked out privately with the Chicago Bulls yesterday, June 13th in front of coaches, scouts and upper-management.

The Guinean-born French-pro is projected to be a lottery pick and the Bulls can take Doumbouya as the seventh overall pick or trade back a few spots to gain more assets and select the 18-year-old.

ESPN and CBS ranked Sekou as the ninth-best draft prospect in the class and Bleacher Report at tenth.

The teams selecting behind the Bulls are the Atlanta Hawks selecting eighth and tenth overall, Washington Wizards at No. 9, Minnesota Timberwolves at No. 11, Charlotte Hornets at No. 12, Miami Heat at No. 13 and the Boston Celtics at No. 14th overall round out the lottery.

Sekou is a 6-foot-9 and 210 pound combo forward with excellent athletic ability and explosive style of play. He offers a 6-foot-11 wingspan, surprising speed in transition, and surprising ball-handling skills. His style of play is reminiscent of Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakim.

He has been playing professionally in France since he was 15-years-old and his stock has risen significantly after joining Limoges CSP. His stock rose so much, that on his pro day he had 10 NBA General Managers in attendance.
