2019 NBA Mock Draft: Two-round post-Allen Crabbe trade
If the Lakers end up keeping this pick, Jarrett Culver should be their guy. The “contending” Lakers would get a two-way player in Culver with a high ceiling. With shooting guard a major positional need, Los Angeles should not hesitate to snag Culver, despite the fact that Darius Garland is a Klutch Sports client and also a phenomenal player.
The Cavs could swing two ways here by taking either Cam Reddish or De’Andre Hunter, but go for the safe bet in Hunter with their top-five selection. Recently drawing more and more comparisons to Kawhi Leonard, the National Champion forward will be a tough pass for Cleveland.
Darius Garland is a phenomenal pick for the Suns considering their downfall in the lottery. Garland was unable to flash his skills in college due to a season-ending injury, but the potential is certainly still there. He’s not Ja Morant, but Garland may just turn out to be better.
