The Nets’ trade to clear cap space doesn’t hurt as badly when fans remember that Brooklyn has Denver’s pick in this year’s draft. With this pick, the Nets look to boost the bench and provide a backcourt partner for Spencer Dinwiddie in Ty Jerome. Winning a National Championship at UVA, his experience on a winning roster could be instrumental in Brooklyn’s future success.

Carsen Edwards seems like the ideal player to plug into the Warriors’ system. With a depleted bench since their 73 win days, adding an All-American to the roster certainly doesn’t hurt, especially considering his style of play.

Near the end of the first round, the Spurs simply should take the best player on the board. In this case, this player is Bruno Fernando from Maryland. One of the better rebounders in this draft, San Antonio takes another dinosaur-type player that Gregg Popovich seems to have an affinity for, despite the way the NBA is moving.
