Philadelphia traded nearly their entire bench away in order to acquire pending free agents Tobias Harris and Jimmy Butler. This lack of bench talent mixed with shooting problems leads them to Cameron Johnson, who can provide an immediate impact off the bench while also spacing the floor.

Here, the Trailblazers simply take the best player available in Luguentz Dort. As a combo guard, Portland could use him as a point paired with Rodney Hood off the bench or as the two-guard if Hood leaves in free agency. Bolstering the bench is key to getting closer to wining the West.

After taking Hunter with their first pick in the draft, the Cavs decide to spend their final pick in the first round on Naz Reid. Reid is an old-school player who gave LSU solid minutes, but nothing crazy impressive. However, he is a former top high school recruit and gives Cleveland a bit of a high-ceiling player to work with.
