9. Sean Kilpatrick

Since leaving the Windy City, Sean Kilpatrick has been playing basketball professionally for Panathinaikos of the Greek Basket League and the EuroLeague.

Kilpatrick’s time with the Bulls was limited to nine games during the 2017-2018 season.

Many will argue Kilpatrick played a part in hurting the Bulls’ draft lottery positioning last year. Averaging 15.4 points to go along with 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game, Kilpatrick would gain the nickname “Kill-Draft-Pick” for his end of season play. Many at the time speculated that the Bulls were trying to tank.

Kilpatrick originally piqued the Bulls’ interest after he completed two, 10-day contracts with the Los Angeles Clippers. On March 26, 2018, the Bulls and Kilpatrick came to terms agreeing to a 3-year, $6.2 million deal only for that contract to be voided. Kilpatrick was released by the Bulls last summer.

During his time in the NBA, Kilpatrick played for several teams, including the Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn Nets, Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves. Kilpatrick is regarded by many as a shooting guard, but at 6 feet and 4 inches, his game might have translated better in the league if he played more point guard.

It remains unclear if Kilpatrick will return to playing basketball professionally in the NBA.
