1. Derrick Rose

Since the Bulls traded Derrick Rose, the franchise has been in disarray in more ways than one. From locker room drama and bad trade deals, the Bulls have yet to recover years later.

The idea of acquiring Rose in free agency this summer could be mutually beneficial for various reasons.

For one thing, Rose still has a love for the city of Chicago and is receptive to the idea of returning to play for the Bulls. Equally as important, Rose could provide some much-needed veteran leadership to the young, rebuilding Bulls core, which is viewed by some people as a very talented group to watch out for in the years to come.

Rose averaged 18 points, 4.3 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game this past season.

As Rose has matured over the years, he’s gained skills that he did not have early on. Added to his game most notably is a more consistent three-point shot.

Rose has a ton of upside at the point guard position, especially the way the game is played in today’s world. The Bulls would be hard-pressed to find a better option than what he can provide offensively.

Rose is projected to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
