4. Luol Deng

How quickly some fans forget Luol Deng’s brilliance. During his 10 seasons in Chicago, the former Duke Blue Devil averaged 16.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

Deng was always the consummate professional for the Bulls. He was quiet, he played hard and he was extremely unselfish. He was the kind of guy every team needed but not every team had.

The 2011-2012 season was arguably the best season of Luol’s career. He made his first All-Star team and was also named to the All-Defensive second team. He played an absurd 39.4 minutes per game and averaged a solid 15.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists.

Deng followed his impressive 2011-12 campaign with another incredible season in 2012-13. Once again, he played an unreal amount of minutes (38.7 per game) and was reliable on both ends of the floor, averaging 16.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Bouncing around the league from team to team has hurt the more recent parts of Deng’s career. He spent last season in Minnesota with some other former Bulls but only played in 22 games.

Deng is approaching his curtain call, but he’s undoubtedly one of the best Bulls of the decade.
