With the final selection in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft, the Bucks take a relatively big swing in taking the trigger-happy guard out of Purdue. Carsen Edwards can flat out score, but did so in college at a criminally inefficient rate. Drawing comparisons to guards such as Stephen Curry and Trae Young, Edwards could find great success in the NBA, but also could be a wasted first rounder by the Bucks.
To begin the second round, the Brooklyn Nets fill a void at forward with Eric Paschall. Paschall is not a very high-risk player, and his offensive abilities can help compliment the skillset of defensive-minded Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
After missing out on both Williamson and Morant, the Suns grab their point guard of the future in the first round and take a shot in the dark at finding a more formidable power forward than Dragan Bender. Although he posted solid numbers at SDSU, Jalen McDaniels will have a lot to prove more in the NBA.
