Gafford does not possess star power, but he can be a formidable role player for Indiana for years to come.
The most San Antonio Spurs pick possible, the Spurs take the risky, yet high ceiling, prospect in Sekou Doumbouya. His size, physical attributes, and two-way promise have made him considered by many to be a top-ten prospect in this draft.
The Spurs still have time to wait and develop him behind LaMarcus Aldridge with their first of two first-round picks. Doumbouya screams bust but also could be a steal.
A first team All-American at Tennessee, the four-year player Grant Williams is a solid option to plug into the contending Boston Celtics’ rotation. The need for a power forward is perhaps Boston’s biggest, and Williams is able to come in and produce immediately. Along with his talent, his four years at a solid program in Tennessee should help get the young guns in Boston back on track.
