What is the best move for the Chicago Bulls to upgrade at point guard in free agency this summer, depending on what happens in the draft?

The Chicago Bulls and all of their fan base was not expecting to be selecting seventh overall after finishing the season with 22 wins, but that’s now their tough reality after a long season. It could be worse; you could lose LeBron James for nothing, lose 18 more games than the Lakers, and still end up drafting behind Los Angeles. (Sorry Cavs fans)

The NBA Draft caught a lot of fans by surprise but the first three picks of the draft shouldn’t be; expect the order to be Zion Williamson, Ja Morant, and R.J. Barrett to start the night. Followed by either De’Andre Hunter and Jarrett Culver at four and five.

This leaves Darius Garland and Coby White; two guards who both would fit the Bulls system and make more sense for them in that spot over players like Cam Reddish, Nassir Little, and Romeo Langford.

Garland who is coming off a major knee injury that ended his season five games in, maybe too much of a risk for the Bulls and likely will be selected by the Suns at sixth overall as a high-risk high-reward in attempting to form a pre-mature big three with Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and Garland.
