3. Chicago Bulls

Lottery odds: 12.5%

Sorry, Bulls fans. Chicago doesn’t need Zion as badly as a couple of other teams do. But don’t get me wrong – they need him.

The Bulls are about to enter year three of their rebuild. That means this should be a season of clarity. If they contend for a playoff spot (similar to the way the Sacramento Kings did this year), it’ll be clear that they have a solid young core that just needs some more time. If, however, the Bulls have another season full of disappointing losses, it’ll be time to reevaluate some of the Bulls’ youngsters.

Sure, Zion’s fit with the Bulls is questionable, but that doesn’t change how badly Chicago needs Zion.

The Bulls are one of the most legendary NBA teams, but Michael Jordan was responsible for all six of the Bulls’ Finals appearances. It’s time for the Bulls to make a post-Michael Jordan Finals run, and Zion Williamson would put them on the fast track to do that.
