15. Pistons- Nickel Alexander-Walker, G, Virginia Tech
Stock Trend from Pre-Tournament Mock: -2
Alexander-Walker had a very quiet season in Blacksburg, but it was a very productive one nonetheless. By taking Alexander-Walker, Detroit fills a need at the shooting guard spot in hopes to become a sure-fire playoff team in the East.
Along with his ability to play both guard positions, Detroit can fill multiple gaps off the bench or in the starting lineup.
16. Nets- Keldon Johnson, G, Kentucky
Stock Trend from Pre-Tournament Mock: -6
The last Pippen Ain’t Easy mock had Johnson as a top-ten pick this June, with the expectation that he would have a stellar tournament. His first-round outing was impressive, but after that he did not play on a lottery level. However, Johnson is a value-find for Brooklyn at the 16th spot, as they come away with a lottery talent. Joe Harris has been a nice piece for Brooklyn, but Johnson would become the long-term heir at shooting guard and, for now, a good bench piece.
