5. Hawks- De’Andre Hunter, F, Virginia

Stock Trend from Pre-Tournament Mock: +1

Hunter’s Virginia Cavaliers secured the NCAA Title, and although he has not always been the marquee player in the box score, he has proved he knows how to win basketball games. Atlanta is closer to becoming a contender than a lot of people realize.

They have a very good young core, two first-round picks this season, and also Cleveland’s 2020 pick which is sure to be in the top-five again. Hunter slides in as the opening-day starter at the small forward spot and will be a solid piece who is NBA-ready.

6. Wizards- Cam Reddish, F, Duke

Stock Trend from Pre-Tournament Mock: -1

What makes Washington and Reddish a perfect fit? They both had extremely disappointing seasons. In all seriousness, the Wizards get an unbelievably high-ceiling player in Reddish.

He can play defense, has phenomenal size at the small forward position, and has the ability to shoot the deep ball, although he failed to do so at an efficient rate in his time in Durham. Washington also fills a void left by Otto Porter Jr. by taking the young wing.
