37. Mavericks- Talen Horton-Tucker, F, Iowa State

Stock Trend from Pre-Tournament Mock: n/a

Horton-Tucker is a very interesting prospect. The Chicago native posted averages of 11.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and .7 blocks in his lone season at ISU on 40 percent from the field and 30 percent from deep. His numbers are decent; however, he plays the small forward position at only 6-foot-4 inches tall.

It is nearly certain that he will not play the three in the NBA, however, there is question as to if he can even play guard at the next level. However, Dallas is in need of a small forward as a result of moving Harrison Barnes to Sacramento in a salary-dump. With Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis as volume scorers, Horton-Tucker won’t have to worry about offense and can focus on what he does best: defense.

38. Pelicans- Tacko Fall, C, Central Florida

Stock Trend from Pre-Tournament Mock: n/a

As stated previously, New Orleans is a mess. Fall may not be the best player available here, but he fills two goals for the Pelicans. First, he has a high ceiling. Standing at 7-foot-6, he averaged 11.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks on 74.8 percent shooting in under 25 minutes per game. His size alone makes him an unbelievably intriguing prospect. Thanks to his impressive NCAA Tournament play, Fall has gained NBA consideration that he had not before.

The second goal Fall achieves for New Orleans is he will sell tickets. With no Davis on the floor, attendance next season is sure to hit rock bottom, not to mention New Orleans is already a small, non-basketball market. Fans will be enticed to see Fall play, as his enormous frame has been a social media staple since his high school days.
