25. Trail Blazers- Cameron Johnson, F, North Carolina
Stock Trend from Pre-Tournament Mock: +5
In drafting Anfernee Simons in 2018, the Blazers took on a project, which seemed puzzling for a competing team in a tight Western Conference. This year, the team will look to improve their roster now, which is where Johnson comes in.
At 23 years old, he has seen multiple tournament runs and a championship at UNC, and can bring both floor spacing and a winning attitude that many rookies do not possess.
26. Cavaliers (via HOU.)- Charles Bassey, C, Western Kentucky
Stock Trend from Pre-Tournament Mock: +2
Bassey is a very high-ceiling player who chose a small school and received little attention. With Tristan Thompson more than likely not the future of the center position, Bassey would be a fantastic way to spend a late-round pick for a rebuilding team. Cleveland must be very wise with this year’s selections, as they may not have their own first rounder in 2020.
