28-Years-Old. Kemba Walker. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Point Guard. 3. 170

The NBA world got some good exposure as to what the Charlotte Hornets superstar point guard Kemba Walker could do this season. Since the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend was hosted at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC, Walker came to the forefront as one of the two starting point guards in the All-Star Game.

This summer, Walker is set to be an unrestricted free agent that will get a significant pay raise. He’s currently getting $12 million this year on the final season of his current contract. The next contract for Walker will likely see him get a max contract at a better destination for him than the current situation at hand with the Hornets.

Walker averages 25.2 points per game, 5.9 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.3 steals. He’s a solid guard that can standout on both ends of the floor. And, while Walker is a fairly ball dominant guard, he’s an efficient shooter. At this point of his career, Walker is generally a 36 percent shooter from beyond the arc and around 43 percent from the field in general.

The hot and cold trends for Walker could be a concern if he were to join a team like the Chicago Bulls, but he is a great home run target in free agency this off-season. Walker could open up the floor for some of his Bulls teammates, namely Zach LaVine and Lauri Markkanen, and take this team to the next level if he lands in the Windy City this year.
