Free agency could be both a fun and nerve wracking time for the fan base for the Chicago Bulls in terms of adding a point guard this summer.

With the free open agent market not too far away for a drowning team in the Eastern Conference like the Chicago Bulls for the summer, this is an important event in the off-season timeline to key in on now. The Chicago Bulls might not be the most active team in the free agent market this summer, but it definitely should give some looks to the unsigned point guards.

We should mention here that this early point guard big board for the Chicago Bulls in free agency this summer is more tailored to the needs and legitimate possibilities for this franchise to work with. Not all of the stars that are going to hit the free agent market at the point guard position are realistic targets of the Chicago Bulls and/or fit the team’s current needs and playing style.

Point guard is potentially the biggest need for the Bulls in free agency this year. The current point guard rotation for the Bulls that features Kris Dunn, Shaquille Harrison, and Ryan Aricidiacono, just doesn’t seem like it’s something that could get it done in the long-term.

Even for the short-term goals for this front office, the point guard position needs a boost whether it be through the free agent market or in the 2019 NBA Draft. We’ll see how the Bulls plan to attack this positional need in the off-season.
