Other options for the Chicago Bulls to look into

It seems like the most realistic scenario at this point for the Chicago Bulls either lies with landing Morant or getting a pick outside the top two in this NBA Draft. If the Bulls are outside the top three in general, then the front office has to dig a lot deeper to find what the best solution would be. It’s a good thing that this is a deep draft class talent-wise.

We already mentioned Garland as a potential solution in the Windy City at point guard if Morant is off the board by this selection. Point guard does start to get pretty thin after Morant and Garland since the next best projected option is likely Duke freshman standout Tre Jones. The Bulls shouldn’t reach that far with an early lottery pick in the first round.

A few other common names to watch that could help out the Bulls include Duke shooting guard R.J. Barrett, Indiana shooting guard/wing Romeo Langford, and North Carolina Tar Heels guard Coby White. It will be interesting to see what happens with Duke forward Cam Reddish following his disappointing freshman campaign too.

Adding some help at the point guard position would be huge in the Windy City now. Garland is a great next option up for the Bulls if Morant and Williamson are both off the draft board. He should be considered alongside Barrett as a “best player available” option that could also fill a need. White is also an intriguing option for the Bulls as a rising NBA Draft target.
