When it comes down to it, who would be the better top option for the Chicago Bulls in the 2019 NBA Draft between Zion Williamson and Ja Morant?
The comparisons between who should fall as the first round pick for the Chicago Bulls in the 2019 NBA Draft will run rampant until the lottery comes around for the franchise this off-season. The 2019 NBA Draft lottery will be very telling as to the direction that the Chicago Bulls should also move in free agency.
If the Chicago Bulls are able to snag an early first round pick, at least in the top three, for the 2019 NBA Draft, things could work out pretty well in the Windy City. Most of the debate, though, will fall around which position this front office should look in. The obvious options for the Bulls in this draft is to go point guard.
However, the issue for the Bulls would be if someone like the Murray State Racers sophomore point guard Ja Morant is already off the board. The next man up at point guard for the Bulls would likely then become the Vanderbilt Commodores true freshman and former five-star recruit Darius Garland.
Although he’s played in just five games this season, Garland is gaining some hype as to his potential at the next level. Garland does have a solid frame for a point guard, at 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds, but he has a lot of progression to make before he is legitimate quality starting point guard in the NBA.
Yet, Morant would be a more immediate fix for the Bulls for the 2019-20 season and beyond. What would happen, though, if the Bulls could have the chance to snag the top talent in this draft class with Duke Blue Devils forward Zion Williamson?
Here’s a look into the comparisons between Zion Williamson and Ja Morant as it pertains to the Chicago Bulls in the 2019 NBA Draft and who the better selection would be.
