The second part on this list among the NBA Drafts where the Chicago Bulls had two first round selections is also the final spot for it. For the No. 22 pick in the first round of the 2018 NBA Draft, the Bulls elected to take a flier on the former Boise State Broncos athletic wing Chandler Hutchison.

We mentioned earlier that it is even too early to give a definitive grade to Hutchison during his time in the Windy City since he’s still in his rookie campaign and spent much of it injured. It will be interesting to see what happens for the Bulls when both Hutchison and Valentine return to the mix.

However, Hutchison has only posted a player efficiency rating of 8.8 so far during his rookie season. He doesn’t give the Bulls that much needed boost from beyond the arc like some expected he could develop into. Yet, Hutchison does still have a lot of time to improve his three-point shot and round out into a solid rotation contributor.

There is one perfect name in mind for the Bulls to take a chance on if Hutchison isn’t the ultimate answer that the front office and coaching staff had in mind. That would be the early second round selection of the Dallas Mavericks, and former Villanova Wildcats guard, Jalen Brunson. Thus far in his rookie season, Brunson looks like he could be one of the biggest second round steals.

Re-draft at No. 22: Jalen Brunson
